Dear Mr. Minich,
I would like to commend your company and specifically, Carol Sanborn. She has accomplished a feat we thought could not be done. Our local paper, the Houston Chronicle, ran a series of articles on the Social Security Department and their reluctance to approve a majority of claims for disability that came into their office. The articles stated that Houston was the leading office in the U.S. to disapprove these claims. Carol knew what had to be done to get this claim approved and did just that in record time.
My husband, Charles, is battling a very serious brain cancer and has to be able to channel all his energies toward recovering from this disease. The idea of filling out all those forms and having to battle the bureaucracy was so overwhelming. It is very energy draining for someone in his condition. Carol’s extensive knowledge of the Social Security system allowed him to worry less about all those details.
Thank you for being their in our time of need.
Dear Mr. Ladd
I wanted to write a letter of gratitude. Thank you for being there for me, it feels so good to have someone on my side. As you know, I don’t trust many people. I know I can trust you. I also needed to say thank you for being so nice and easy to talk to. I was (so) worried and I know the only way I made it through that day is because you are so caring.
Dear Mr. Minich,
I want to thank you for the wonderful help during my illness. “My helper” was Carol Sanborn. Her personal touch was so appreciated. Many days she had to listen to my crying and my confusion. Her friendly manor always put me at ease. She was always able to simplify the very confusing details into a way I could understand. I’ll tell you this- I’m not sure that I would have made it thru all this without Carol. Please share this letter with her. I want her to know how good it was to find someone so caring and concerned for her client. When you’re walking thru the valley of shadows it’s wonderful to have a friend like her.
Dear Ron or Kim,
Thank you for being so patient, kind, and understanding to someone who just does not understand the legalities. BTS Group is one in a million to little people like me. Thanks so much.
Dear Mr. Minich,
Just wanted to send this card to let you know how pleased I was with your company and the staff, especially Suzanne Dowler. The manner in which she conducted herself by telephone and with process of application of appealing for my social security disability benefits really was admirable. Thanks to you in the time you spent talking with my husband and I by phone and the amount of time you must have spent handling my account. Please let everyone know how much I appreciated their commitment to good, compassionate, and business handling my affairs. Thank you.
Dear Mr. Minich,
“For All Things I give God the Praises”. Words can never express my deep appreciation for you and your expert, professional and most caring staff (Ms. Sanborn, Ms. Dowler, and others) who lent their expertise in winning my Social Security disability claim. They were so prompt and efficient and kept me informed at all times as to what was happening and explaining procedures of which I had no knowledge. At times during phone interviews I would be in pain, they would patiently wait for me to continue. During so many times of stressful personal problems their concerned yet professional voices would somehow comfort me because often I felt (and I still do) so alone. These are just a few examples of how you and your remarkable and outstanding staff has helped me.
Dear David,
I am so glad to finally be putting in writing how much I appreciated all your efforts to bring my Social Security application for disability benefits to such a successful conclusion.Your attentitiveness, professionalism, knowledge, and support so blessed me during these challenging times of pain and confusion due to my varied injuries. There is no way I would have been able to read, write, or respond to the forms necessary to participate in this process to secure my benefits. Your special caring nature, and the thoroughness of your assistance truly buoyed me up in times of great difficulty, pain, and uncertainty. Alas, anyone working with you and your staff will always feel well cared for and relieved of any uncertainty.
Interestingly, through all this, I sense I gained as a new friend. thanks ever so much, David. The best always to you, your family, and Benefit Team Services Group.
Dear BTS Group,
Your employee, Mr. Steve Gaarder has done a great job in getting everything processed with the disability board and the Social Security office. He is the most pleasant person and caring. My family is so relieved to know we will once again have an income. GREAT JOB STEVE!
God Bless you and yours.
Mr. David Minich,

Dear Mr. Minich
Thank you for your help with my disability claim. Your insights were both needed and appreciated as I faced my undesirable circumstances. It was uplifting to talk with you by phone. Your morals and ethics were apparent even though we haven’t met. Keep up the good work, I am sure there are others floundering as I was. You’ve been a blessing.
To the “Group” at BTS Group
I wish there were more than words to express my gratitude to all of you, but since that is all I can do, Thanks to all of you so very much.
Dear Kim,
This is only a short note. But I wanted you to know how much YOU helped me. When I was down, you always picked me up and gave me positive hope that everything would turn out fine (and you were correct). I will never be able to thank you enough. I am enclosing a copy of the letter I sent to Ron Ladd. I hope he will reaize what an asset you are to the company (as I have). Thank you again.
Dear Mr. Ron Ladd
I have trouble writing or printing because of my arthritis. But, I wanted to write you a note thanking you and your company for all you have done to help me get my Social Security. I will always be grateful to you and your company. Especially Kim Armel. she has been there every time I called. If she wasn’t, she always returned my calls. She always told me not to worry and everything was going to turn out fine, and she was right. I really hope that ALL of the employees are at least 1/2 as considerate as she has been to me.
Thank you for everything again.
Mr. Ron Ladd and staff,
I wanted to take a moment to thank you and your staff for the kindness and understanding through the last year. It was a long wait and a lot of times I just wanted to give up because I though no one was listening or cared. But you helped me to hang on. Everyone in your office was always kind and helpful. You kept saying it would work out, you had more faith that I. Always the best. Thank you
Dear David and Ron,
On behalf of my wife and me we wish to express our deepest appreciation for all of your help and support. We are blessed to have had the opportunity to know you and BTS Group. May God bless you.
To Whom it may concern
Just a short note to tell you how pleased I was with the help that Steve Gaarder gave to my sister and I. I was at wits end when he came to our rescue! I wish that more people were that understanding and helpful (especially with this kind of deal) and the world would be a better place for all of us to live in!I hope I never need his kind of help for myself, but if I do he will be the one I will call on for help. Thank You,
Dear Mr. Minich,
In September I received my first correspondence from you. My conversations with you, Mr. Ladd, and Scott were very informative. You provided me with information that I would not have known.Mr. Minich, are you aware there is an angel on your staff? Carol Sanborn is truly my guardian angel during this time of government forms, forms, and more forms. She is one of the most professional, yet kind, persons I have dealt with. She has restored my faith in the “system”.
Without Carol there is no way I could proceed with my disability claim. The paperwork is overwhelming. she is knowledgeable and understands the meaning behind the volumes of questions. Her patience when I am struggling to remember what happened six months ago is very reassuring.
Quite honestly, I would not have considered social security disability benefits had it not been for BTS Group and especially Carol Sanborn. Regardless of the final determination, my experience with your organization is well worth your fee and my time. Thank you!!
Dear Mr. Minich:
The purpose of this letter is to express to you, your BTS Group and its personnel, particularly Carol Sanborn, my earnest and deep appreciation for the superb handling of my Social Security Disability Claim.Initially when my insurance company suggested the services of your firm, I decided to do so in spite of what seemed to me some grave and negative factors in my case. Consequently, I was quite pessimistic about this effort. I knew my cardiological evaluation show no compelling disability, and that my prognosis for Coronary Artery Disease was very good. In addition, my thirty year experience with mental illness and its stigma (better now than thirty years ago) led me to believe that a claim based in whole or in part on psychiatric disability would be most difficult to demonstrate and document. It seemed a long shot to me. All I knew for certain was that I no longer had the capacity for gainful employment in any field of endeavor.
However, Carol Sanborn showed great understanding and optimism from the beginning. She reassured me several times that she would pursue every option throughout the process and its several stages which she described to me in detail. Her pleasant personality, consistent optimism; her obvious knowledge and skills were a blessing to me; and, as you know, ultimately won approval at the first level–an award which I never expected on the first try. I cannot commend her enough. As CEO, you certainly run an outstanding firm. Once again, many, many thanks.
Mr. Minich,
Hello! My name is Julianne. BTS Group has been helping me to obtain SS disability. Kim and Ron have been WONDERFUL. Even though I haven’t heard the decision (on my claim) yet, I was very happy with my representation by Ron Ladd. He was both helpful and comforting. I was extremely nervous. Ron explained everything to me, and tried to put me at ease. Now, on to Kim. I can never thank her enough. Kim has been more than someone at the other end of the telephone. She’s been a friend. In my opinion, Kim has gone way beyond the “call of duty”. I’ve called and been almost hysterical, and Kim would calm me down a basically take care of everything. I was hospitalized in January. A LOT of things went wrong. Kim was able to get the ball rolling. She’s been there for me. Whether it be getting paperwork sent, answering my MANY questions, or just a kind word. I never felt uncomfortable, not once. I’ve dealt with many people that don’t seem to really care. Or, you feel like they tell you things just to put you off. I truly never felt that way with Kim. She is a very caring person. Probably one of the most decent people I’ve been acquainted with. BTS Group is lucky to have such a person representing them. The two people that I dealt with the most were Ron and Kim. I don’t mean to exclude the others. Everyone I dealt with at BTS Group were helpful, kind, and pleasant. You have an excellent staff of TRUE human beings. No matter what the judge’s decision ends up to be, I feel strongly that I was represented in the best way possible. Don’t ever lose these fine people, you could never replace them.
Dear Dave,
Thank you for the personal note you added to your recent letter. There are not enough words to express our gratitude for all you have done for us.
Thanks to you and your willingness to stick it out with me, we will again be able to live comfortably. We wish you continued success and I look forward to talking to you when my first payment arrives. thanks so very much.
